Photoelectric raster converters (FRP)
are designed to convert relative angular displacements into rectangular
electrical impulses. The presence of two offset by 90 ° el. pulse sequences A,
B and reference signal C (one per revolution of the shaft) make it possible to
measure the absolute displacement relative to the reference signal under
reverse conditions. Their main application is in CNC machines, robotics,
automated dosing and control systems, systems for computer-aided design, as
well as in the control of production processes, in radio navigation systems,
etc.
