Oil-resistant sealant - cable filler GZM-4 is intended for the repair of cables with oil-impregnated insulation with a voltage of up to 10 kV. Due to the high quality of the interaction with the insulating oil-impregnated material, it provides a reliable connection that is not dissolved by the oil-draining filling. Its unique ability to equalize the electric field makes it indispensable in cable joints, ensuring the safety and stability of the system.

The oil-resistant sealant is used indoors, outdoors and in the soil, demonstrating high resistance to atmospheric influences. The set consists of four yellow tapes, which are laid on a cable connection with a small stretch (up to 30%) overlapping. This allows the sealant layers to stick together and create a homogeneous mass similar to cold vulcanization.

This oil-resistant sealant has excellent technical characteristics. It blocks the penetration of oil from the impregnated paper insulation of the cable, does not support combustion and has an electrical strength of at least 15 kV/mm. The relative dielectric constant is 15–20, the resistivity is 10⁹–10¹⁰ Ohm·cm, and the elongation at break reaches 950%. The sealant retains its properties even at temperatures from -50°C to +50°C, remaining elastic and easily formed under any conditions.

The product is made on siliconized paper in the form of tapes or rolls. Its service life is at least 30 years, the manufacturer's warranty is 5 years, and the shelf life is 2 years.

GZM-4 oil-resistant sealant has significant advantages over analogues such as Vykar LB (E) tape and electric field leveling mastics. It is distinguished by higher electrical strength (at least 15 kV/mm), better elasticity (elongation at break - ≥950%) and stability of operation in extreme temperatures. The absence of quartz fillers improves its electrical insulating properties, and ease of use, due to the absence of sticking to hands and tools, makes installation quick and easy.
