Photoelectric raster converters (FRP) are designed to convert relative angular displacements into rectangular electrical impulses. The presence of two offset by 90 ° el. pulse sequences A, B and reference signal C (one per revolution of the shaft) make it possible to measure the absolute displacement relative to the reference signal under reverse conditions.
